Madeleine “Maddy” Mestman is a seasoned Human Resources Professional with over 30 years of experience across various industries, including: architecture, beauty, computer gaming, construction, creative media, distribution, education, e-mobility, entertainment, events, financial services, food service, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, new energies, plumbing, real estate, and technology. As a results-oriented and approachable HR business partner, Maddy applies the right combination of knowledge, experience, ingenuity, and intuition to align business and people strategies.

In 2000, Maddy harnessed her strengths and business acumen to found People Partners LLC, a full service Human Resources, learning, and development consultancy, serving US and international clients across all industries. In 2020, People Partners LLC celebrates 20 years of success in providing our clients with a comprehensive range of human resources services that support their goals and help them realize their business visions. People Partners LLC has grown exponentially in recent years due to our continued success in the placement of talented HR consultants, matched specifically to companies and their requirements and varying needs. People Partners projects range from very short-term to ongoing relationships stretching over years. People Partners LLC excels at creating relationships with employees at all levels and developing solutions to challenges that mitigate risk while promoting productivity and loyalty. Much of the success attributed to People Partners stems from building and maintaining relationships through the years, as Ms. Mestman strives for positive and lasting relationships with both her clients and consultants.

Ms. Mestman’s accomplishments in recent years involved complex cases. Recently, People Partners LLC was contracted by a new energies client to provide a team of 4 interim HR consultants, including an interim CHRO, during pre and post-acquisition by a Fortune 100 company. During this project, Ms. Mestman and her team managed: Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation and Risk Management. She stepped in as an interim CPO/CHRO, just prior to acquisition, and managed functions and integration: Compliance, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Systems, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation and Risk Management. People Partners LLC was also contracted to provide a team of 6 interim HR consultants to serve an international organization pre and post-Chapter 11 bankruptcy and pre-merger across: Payroll, Benefits, Employee Relations and Compensation. For this project, Ms. Mestman was responsible for leading a team of 27 in Human Resources, Payroll, Safety, Travel, Show Labor, and Reception/Administration. She stepped in as an interim CHRO, just prior to Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing, and managed functions toward merger/integration.

Ms. Mestman is bilingual in Spanish, holds a BA in Literature and Rhetoric from Binghamton University (the top university within SUNY, the State of New York public higher education system), and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Legal Studies with a specialization in Employment and Human Resources at the UCLA School of Law. She is a certified Management Leadership Facilitator through Achieve Global (Zenger Miller), a certified Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) through the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), and a certified Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR) through the Human Resources Certification Institute. In addition, Ms. Mestman co-founded the Southern California Wine Country SHRM Chapter, founded the Temecula-based Senior Human Resources Roundtable, co-founded the Southern California Wine Country Executive Leadership Forum, founded and ran the West LA SHRM Consultants Forum, and served as an Advisory Board Member for the Billy Daniels Foundation. Ms. Mestman also founded and served as the Chairwoman from 2015 to 2019 for People Partners Closet (501c3), dedicated to serving disadvantaged youth in the local community.
